One of the best New Orleans style bass players around. He is one of the few who today plays on gut strings and without amplifiers.
Göran Lind was born in Örebro in 1950 and grew up in Bromma, a western surburb of Stockholm. There he got his musical training in some of the best traditional jazz orchestras of Sweden. Today, Göran can be heard playing in bands like Classic Jazzband and Stockholm Swing All Stars, and has toured around the world and performed at festivals in the USA, Germany, France, Italy, UK, India, Australia, Hong Kong and Japan.
He also has recorded and performed with artists like Benny Waters (who used to call him 'Little Pops'), Maxine Sullivan, Benny Carter, Jabbo Smith and Dickie Wells among others.
